But that doesn’t mean that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a bad game, only that it’s not really my thing.
What I can say is that it’s easily identifiable, and brings back pleasant memories of my misspent youth. But these memories are brought to life is crisp hi-def graphics.
The gameplay is relatively simple, though it will take a little practice to figure out all the moves, and what special abilities each character has, especially if you’re new to the genre.
Essentially Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is tag team fighting, which means that even if one of your characters gets laid out on the slab, you can still continue the fight. There is ample to choose form in character selection and whilst the game is pretty much the same old same old, if you figure out what characters best compliment you style of play, you’ll achieve a lot more that if you just pick randoms and button mash.
In short, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 delivers a good solid game, that will keep fans of the series suitable entertained, and may even garner the series a few more fans.
