Electric Avenue At Big Boys Toys 2018 This Week
The Electric Avenue at Big Boys Toys 2018 will be the biggest EV show ever staged in New Zealand at the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane from 16-18 November. It is a celebration of all things electric – cars, bikes, scooters, skateboards.
The Electric Avenue is being co-ordinated with the team at ChargeNet NZ, and will take up half of the DRIVEN Hall at this year’s show. It features the latest EV’s such as the Tesla Model 3, Hyundai Kona and Nissan Leaf Nismo, plus Mercury’s electric 1957 Ford Fairlane – EVIE.
There will be EV Rides and Drives giving the public an opportunity to experience these amazing EV’s, plus two E-Bike Trial Areas allowing you to try E-Bikes, E-Scooters and E-Skateboards.
The Electric Avenue allows you to meet the experts and ask the questions you have about Electric Vehicles. Visitors to the avenue can meet the experts and ask questions, with representatives from GVI Electric, ChargeNet NZ, the Electric Vehicle Association of Aotearoa, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority and many more on hand
The Electrifying Conversations series upstairs will feature free presentations from the team at ChargeNet NZ, the world’s fastest female motorcycle racer – Eva Hakansson (KillaJoule), and James Williams from Hyundai New Zealand.
There is a chance to see the Killajoule – the world’s fastest electric bike and its creator, Eva Håkansson who holds the world speed record for a female motorcycle rider at 400.278 km/h!
