Brothers In Arms Series Now Officially Dead
I don;t know what the hell Gearbox were thinking when they decided to put development time into a game that absoilutley destroys a franchise that has created some of the best World War 2 action on any console. At the end of the last game in the series, Hells Highway, the developer hinted in the closing scenes at a Battle of the Bulge follow up.
This would have been awesome.
Now they’ve announced Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 – you can almost see Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in that name – a game that is so far from the frnachise it should be a new game in its own right, rather than soiling the Brothers in Arms name. In it’s own right it looks like a game version of Tarentino’s Inglourious Basterds, and it may have been an enjoyable game, but because they’ve attahced the BiA moniker, I’ll be avoiding it out of principle.
