Sony is teased something big with a post on the PlayStation Blog saying “See the Future” along with the above video along with a sign up form, inviting you to “Be the first to know.” on February 20, 2012 at 6pm EST.

Speculation is rampant that this could be the PlayStation 4 announcement.  This would certainly fit the “See the Future” billing, and would give Sony the jump on the new Xbox rumoured to be coming out at Christmas but still lacking an official announcement.

If it’s anything less than the PS4 announcement, a lot of people are going to be disappointed.  The only thing that has me worried, is the collection of date of birth details, something that is usually kept for access to R-Rated games rather than a hardware announcement.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
