San Andreas Getting 360 Makeover?
An achievement list that apparently came directly from Microsoft has appeared on achievement tracking website XboxAchievements.com, hinting that the massive open-world game, San Andreas, could be getting a port or remaster.
The first comment on the list, claims… “For Xbox 360. No official announcement, no word on release date, price, or if it will come to retail or just be digital. Literally nothing but the achievements have shown up on Microsoft’s end. Watch our news space for info as we get it.”
San Andreas was released for PlayStation 2 in 2004, and this Sunday is the games’ 10th birthday. Will we be seeing a remastered game using the GTAV engine, or are Rockstar just teasing us in the lead up to the next gen release of the current game?
As per usual, there is no official comment from Rockstar, but we will be keeping a close eye on for any announcements this weekend.
