The release of the official Modern Warfare 3 teaser trailer seems to confirm a few things that we’ve learnt over the last three days, mainly that it will be an immeditae continuation of Modern Warfare 2, with an attack on New York.  Whilst It really doesn’t show a heck of a lot more, jumping to conclusions and negating previous rumours that this would be a prequal would be foolhardy, especially after reading Kotaku’s recent leakage, stating that all the loose ends from previous titles (note the plural) would be tied up, suggesting that as in Call of Duty 4, we might play some flash back missions that could go way before the time line of Call of Duty 4.

Of course, only time will tell, and we’re sure to be seeing a lot more officail and un-officail information between now and November.
