Logan Lucky
I guess I’ve only got my self to blame to requesting a copy of Logan Lucky based purely on Daniel Craig’s character in the trailer. The film just felt like it had so much potential to be a massively laugh out loud slapstick that I decided to guzzle the kool aid rather than listen to the warning signs in my head.
Rather than a laugh out loud comedy, Logan Lucky is a redneck re-make of Ocean’s Eleven, which shouldn’t have been hard for director Steven Soderbergh as he helmed the original Ocean’s flick.
But alas, Logan Lucky for all it strives to be, ends up being nothing more than a cleverly orchestrated mess, with too many characters vying for our attention, and Craig’s character having had his best moments in the trailer, never lived up to my expectations.
