John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
Keanu Reeves returns once again to his role of John Wick, this time continuing right from where the last film left off. Wick has been made excommunicado and has a fourteen million dollar bounty on his head, meaning every single hitman in New York is coming for him. Stuck in the middle of New York City with no one to help him, Wick has to think on his feet and fight with his hands.
John Wick: Chapter 3 maintains the same feverishly high degree of action, brutal carnage, and it’s own choreographed fighting style. It’s a one hundred and twenty-minute joyride that stops off to visit old characters, introduces new ones, and expands its own world-building along the way.
Sure, it’s not a perfect film per se, the plot is convoluted at times and tends to lean a little too far towards cheesy occasionally, but if you’re like me and get this unexplainable giddy excitement every time Wick starts killing people, then this film will rock your world.
Doctor Strange Director Scott Derrickson went as far as to tweet that John Wick 3 now rivals or possibly surpasses The Raid as the best hand-to-hand fighting film ever made. Now that’s a massive call that only makes me want to re-watch The Raid before going to see Wick 3 again.

There is so much more I want to say about John Wick 3, and how fucking amazing it is, but to do so I would have to tell you about this, and I’d have to tell you about that, and I’d have to reveal this. But that’s just going to spoil the experience for you. So I’m just going to say, if you’re a fan of action films then do yourself a favour and watch John Wick 3 on the big screen.
