Feel The Force At Armageddon And Win
Calling all Star Wars fans – get dressed to impress and be in to win with Xbox 360.
Next weekend’s Armageddon event will be nirvana for Star Wars fans – the upcoming Xbox-exclusive blockbuster Kinect Star Wars will be on show and available for a sneak-peek playable demo. Better yet everyone rocking a Star Wars costume that visits the Xbox stand will go into the draw to win a Star Wars Limited Edition console and game when it launches next year.
So dust off your Chewbacca suit and feel the force of the Galactic epic at the Xbox stand.
In the R18 zone you can take on the biggest games of the year like Battlefield 3; Batman: Arkham City and of course Gears Of War 3 where you’ll be able to get up close and personal, not just with the game, but also a replica of the COG’s most infamous weapon, the Lancer Assault Rifle.
You’ll also be able to get hands on with Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary which doesn’t launch until November. The game celebrates 10 years of the Halo story and is a spectacularly re-mastered version of the original Halo campaign. And not only will you get a pre-launch peek at the game, you’ll also be able to play in 3D! The Halo universe has never looked so good.
Visitors to the Xbox stand also get the chance to experience the genre-leading car racing game Forza Motorsport 4 full throttle and in high-definition. You’ll get the chance to quite literally get into the driver’s seat to try it out for yourself on a special three-screen simulator that has to be seen to be believed!
The revolutionary Xbox Kinect will be out front at Armageddon too. In the Kinect zone, you can experience for yourself just how Xbox Kinect has revolutionised gaming with Kinect Sports Season 2 (featuring the all-new sports of golf, tennis, darts, skiing, baseball and American football), Dance Central 2, The Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja, along with on-stage game-offs and special celebrity appearances.
Get your game face on!
Armageddon is open from 11.00 a.m on Friday then from 9.00 a.m on Saturday, Sunday and 10.00 a.m on Monday.
