Fallout 4 – Why Details Matter
Fallout 4 is an open-world action RPG that shares a key trait with other Bethesda Game Studios releases: the freedom to be whomever you want, and to play however you want. Set in Boston 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse, the game offers a 1950s retro vision of the future. Playing as a male or female, in first- or third-person, Fallout 4 has combat that stands toe to toe with today’s shooters. New to Fallout 4 are settlements where you can build your own fully functioning town. And thanks to the advanced crafting system, almost every item now has value. The Pip-Boy is back. V.A.T.S. is back. And Dogmeat is back… but this time he can’t die!
In the video above, Todd talks about the team’s obsession with details, and he shares with us why details matter so much at Bethesda Game Studios along with some exclusive new insights into Fallout 4.
