Days Gone Delayed Till 2019
Sony’s highly anticipated zombie game, Days Gone, has been delayed. Originally scheduled for a release this year, Sony revealed that the launch will now be in 2019. In a statement given to GameSpot, Sony confirmed the delay but did not give any information on why Days Gone will be released at a later date.
“We can confirm that Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date.”
Days Gone was initially announced at E3 2016. The game is being developed by Bend Studio, which is owned by Sony, and is famous for developing games such as the Syphon Filter series, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the PS Vita. It revolves around Deacon St. John, a former bounty hunter, as he fights his way through the undead. Although the game’s creators have insisted that enemies are not zombies in a traditional sense, but instead, they are infected humans called Freakers.
