In a double whammy announcement tonight Sony have revealed plans to launch Playstation Suite, a product that will allow Playstation content to be played on an open source device – The Android. With Android sales on the increase it seems a very prudent move for SCEE to stick to its bread and butter, which is gaming, and leave the phone game up to the manufacturers.

Tonight Sony have announced their long awaited refresh of their portable Playstation products.Its fair to say that alot of people have been eager to see a Playstation Phone to rival the iPhone.

One of these announcements is a new redesigned Portable Gaming Device, as part of the already succesful PSP and PSPGo line up. The Next Generation Portable Entertainment system or NGP for short will debut at the end of 2011.
