Captain Price will be featuring in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, according to his voice actor Billy Murray.

In an update posted to his portfolio site, the British actor says he’s recently recorded some Captain Price dialogue in LA. Which restarts the discussions about whether he actually dies or not at the end of Call of Duty 4.

It doesn’t actually resolve them, though, because Murray doesn’t give any details of what he was actually recording. It could be an in-game recording, or even a flashback – like the All Ghillied Up mission in CoD 4, which you played as the then-Lieutenant Price.

If nothing else, it continues the theme of Infinity Ward including a soldier called Price in all of its Call of Duty games – he first appeared in Call of Duty on PC, and was promoted to Captain in Call of Duty 2, although the modern-day version in CoD 4 was obviously a different character. [oxm]
